Job Description:
88 ACES is recruiting a Fitter (FTR) for an Oil/Chemical Tanker vessel. The Fitter will support the engine department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and workshop duties onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair work.
Assist engineers with machinery repairs and troubleshooting.
Perform fitting and fabrication work as required.
Assist with planned maintenance and inspections.
Follow onboard safety procedures and technical instructions.
Requirements:
Previous Fitter experience
Oil/Chemical Tanker experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid seafarer's documents
