Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Indonesian Deck Fitter to join an international cargo vessel. The successful candidate should have practical fitting and maintenance experience on the same vessel type and be capable of working safely within a multinational crew.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out routine maintenance and repair work on deck equipment and fittings.
• Inspecting deck machinery and reporting defects.
• Assisting with metalwork, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as required.
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Following safe working practices during maintenance and repair operations.
• Supporting the deck department with assigned technical tasks.

Requirements

• Indonesian nationality.
• Valid STCW 2010 certificates and applicable seafarer documents.
• All documents and certificates valid for at least 18 months.
• Experience as a Deck Fitter on the same vessel type.
• Minimum 36 months of foreign-going vessel experience.
• Experience working with multinational crews.
• Good English communication skills.
• Medical fitness for sea service.

• Salary: USD 2,300 per month.
