Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a qualified Chief Engineer to join a Ro-Ro vessel. The vessel operates on a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, starting 05 March. Candidates must have proven experience with CAT main engines. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the engine department, maintenance of all machinery, and compliance with vessel safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Oversee and manage all engine room operations and maintenance
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of CAT main engines and auxiliary machinery
• Supervise engine department personnel and coordinate work schedules
• Maintain technical logs and records of engine performance
• Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, and company safety procedures

Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer STCW certificates
• CAT main engines experience – mandatory
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous experience on Ro-Ro vessels preferred
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
