Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is recruiting a qualified Chief Engineer for an Oil/Chemical or Oil Product Tanker for a new vessel takeover scheduled for December 2026.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and supervise all engine-room operations and machinery maintenance.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of propulsion, auxiliary, and electrical systems.
  • Plan and oversee preventive maintenance and machinery repairs.
  • Supervise engine-room personnel and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain engine-room records and manage technical documentation and spare parts.

Requirements

  • Valid Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (CoC).
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
  • Relevant tanker experience.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Valid seafarer’s documents.

Employment Details

  • Salary: USD 13,000 per month
  • Bonus: Rejoining Bonus
  • Joining: December 2026
