Description
Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years' study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent in electrical discipline
* 1 to 10 years' experience in O&G or industrial industries (1 to 5 for tech, 5 to 10 for skilled tech)
* Have a basic understanding of facilities/process (from well to export). Be knowledgeable of hydrocarbons behaviour and associated risks (explosion, asphyxia…).
* Be able to read and use drawings (single line and schematic diagrams), vendor documents, nameplate. Be knowledgeable of electrical symbols.
* Possess notions on cable sizing and voltage dropping
* Be aware of area classification, marking for hazardous area ATEX rules, and Ex explosion-proof materials.
* English speaking
