Job Description:

OSM Thome is seeking Engine Cadets and Deck Cadets for Shuttle Tankers and CO₂ vessels.
Cadets will join modern vessels operating under high safety and operational standards.
The company reviews applications on a rolling basis, and suitable candidates will be contacted continuously.
Please note that one-month cadet placements are not considered.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
 • Assisting officers with daily operational and maintenance tasks onboard
 • Participating in watchkeeping and routine shipboard duties relevant to the cadet position
 • Following company SMS, safety procedures, and training programs
 • Gaining practical sea-time experience in accordance with cadet training requirements

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates relevant to cadet position
 • Medical fitness certificate
 • Enrollment in an approved maritime education program (Deck or Engine)
 • Proficiency in English communication
 • Availability for minimum 4-week cadet rotations
• Motivation to learn and comply with company safety culture

Employment Details:

• Contract Duration: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
• Salary: As per company cadet policy
