Job Description:
Drillmar Resources is currently recruiting an experienced Assistant Driller to join a 6th Generation Drillship for a 4-week offshore assignment, commencing 20 July 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified drilling professionals with previous experience on modern offshore drilling units.
The successful candidate will support drilling operations, assist the Driller in maintaining safe and efficient drilling activities, and ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Driller with all drilling and well control operations.
Monitor drilling equipment and report any operational issues.
Ensure safe operation and maintenance of drilling systems.
Follow company HSE policies and participate in safety meetings and emergency drills.
Maintain accurate operational records and support efficient drilling performance.
Requirements:
Valid OPITO BOSIET or FOET with CA-EBS.
Valid OGUK Medical or Seafarer's Medical Certificate.
IWCF or IADC Well Control (Surface & Subsea) certification.
Previous offshore experience as an Assistant Driller.
Experience onboard a cyber semi-submersible or 6th Generation Drillship.
Valid Right to Work in the European Union.
Proficiency in English communication.
