Job Description
An Assistant Crane Operator is required for an offshore project in Las Palmas. The successful candidate will support crane operations and lifting activities while working closely with the Crane Operator and deck team.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Crane Operator during lifting and cargo-handling operations.
- Support preparation and positioning of loads for lifting.
- Work with banksmen and slingers during lifting operations.
- Assist with crane and lifting equipment inspections.
- Maintain safe working practices and good housekeeping around the work area.
Requirements
- Relevant Crane Operator Stage 1, 2, 3 or 4 certification, as applicable.
- Banksman/Slinger certification where required.
- Work at Height & Rescue certification.
- Valid OEUK Medical.
- Valid Offshore Survival certification, including HUET EBS / CA-EBS as applicable.
- Relevant offshore or lifting operations experience.
- Good English communication skills.
