Job Description
Blue Oceans Yachting is currently recruiting experienced yacht professionals to join Charter and Private Motor Yachts operating worldwide.
The company is seeking qualified deck officers, engineering personnel, deck crew, interior crew, and culinary professionals with relevant luxury yacht experience and a strong commitment to guest service, safety, and professional onboard standards.
Open Positions
Deck Department
- Captain — USD 9,500/month
- 2nd Officer — EUR 5,500/month
- Bosun — EUR 4,500/month
Engineering Department
- Chief Engineer — USD 7,000/month
Interior Department
- Sole Steward / Stewardess — USD 6,000/month
- Laundry Steward / Stewardess — EUR 4,800/month
Galley Department
- Cook / Crew Chef — EUR 4,750/month
Job Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform duties according to the assigned rank and yacht procedures.
- Support safe navigation, deck operations, and yacht maintenance.
- Manage or assist with engineering and technical operations.
- Maintain guest cabins, interior areas, laundry, and housekeeping services.
- Prepare meals for guests and crew and maintain galley hygiene.
- Deliver high-quality guest service in a luxury yacht environment.
- Support mooring, anchoring, tender, and watersports activities where applicable.
- Participate in emergency drills and onboard safety procedures.
- Maintain operational readiness and comply with yacht company standards.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Previous experience in the relevant position on Private, Charter, Luxury, or Superyachts preferred.
- Valid STCW certification as applicable.
- Valid CoC for Officer and Engineer positions where required.
- Valid Passport and Medical Certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong guest-service and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and attention to detail.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
- Physically and medically fit for yacht service.
Position-Specific Requirements
Captain
- Valid Master / Captain CoC appropriate to the yacht.
- Proven command experience on private or charter motor yachts.
Chief Engineer
- Valid Engineer CoC appropriate to the yacht.
- Proven Chief Engineer experience on yachts or similar vessels.
2nd Officer
- Valid Officer CoC.
- Previous yacht navigation and deck experience.
Bosun
- Previous Bosun / Senior Deckhand experience.
- Strong deck maintenance and seamanship skills.
Sole Steward / Stewardess
- Previous senior interior or luxury hospitality experience.
- Ability to independently manage interior and guest-service operations.
Laundry Steward / Stewardess
- Previous yacht, cruise, hotel, or luxury laundry/housekeeping experience.
- Strong knowledge of garment and linen care.
Cook / Crew Chef
- Previous yacht, vessel, or luxury culinary experience.
- Good knowledge of international crew cuisine.
- Food hygiene certification preferred.
