Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Captain or Captain-Couple to join a private motor yacht currently located in Europe, which will be based in the UAE following delivery.

Applications are welcomed from established couples, with the partner considered for a suitable onboard position. Candidates must hold EU passports for this opportunity and be comfortable relocating to and living in the UAE.

The Captain will be responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation of the yacht, including navigation, crew management, safety, maintenance, and guest relations.

We are looking for a well-established couple who work seamlessly together while maintaining a professional approach onboard. Both candidates should be confident, personable, adaptable, and committed to delivering high standards of service and yacht operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Taking overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the yacht.
• Managing navigation, passage planning, and voyage execution.
• Supervising crew members and coordinating daily onboard operations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable maritime regulations and safety procedures.
• Overseeing yacht maintenance, inspections, and operational readiness.
• Maintaining excellent communication with the owners and managing guest relations.
• Working collaboratively with the partner to support a professional and well-organised onboard environment.

Requirements

• Master 3000 qualification required for the Captain.
• Proven experience as a Captain aboard motor yachts.
• Valid EU passport required for this opportunity.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of yacht navigation, safety management, and maintenance.
• Professional, adaptable, and personable attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a couple onboard.
• Willingness to be based in the UAE following yacht delivery.
• Relevant valid maritime certificates and medical fitness documentation.

Partner position: The partner may be considered for a suitable onboard role, depending on experience and qualifications.

Employment Details

• Salary: USD 12,000 per month for the Captain, depending on experience.
