Captain / Engineer for Motor Yacht

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Captain / Engineer for a yacht position. The successful candidate will be responsible for vessel navigation, onboard safety, and the operation and maintenance of the yacht’s machinery and technical systems. The candidate should be adaptable, safety-conscious, and capable of managing both deck and engineering responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Managing vessel navigation and ensuring safe yacht operations.
• Overseeing routine maintenance and operation of engines and onboard machinery.
• Ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and safety procedures.
• Coordinating daily onboard activities and maintaining operational readiness.
• Maintaining accurate vessel, navigation, and engineering records.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Appropriate Captain and engineering qualifications for the vessel.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant yacht experience in navigation and engineering.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Strong leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills.
