Job Description

We are seeking a positive, hardworking, and professional Temporary Steward(ess) to join the interior team aboard a superyacht in Italy for a fixed-term contract from 1 November to 31 January.

The ideal candidate will have previous superyacht experience and be comfortable joining an established team and contributing effectively from day one.

The successful applicant will assist across all areas of the interior department, including housekeeping, laundry, and guest service, depending on the vessel’s operational requirements.

We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail who can work efficiently, follow instructions, and maintain consistently high standards throughout the temporary contract. A proactive attitude, adaptability, strong work ethic, and ability to work well as part of a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the yacht’s interior.
• Carrying out housekeeping duties and preparing guest areas.
• Managing laundry tasks, including washing, ironing, and garment care.
• Assisting with food and beverage service as required.
• Supporting the interior team with daily operations and guest requirements.
• Following instructions from senior interior crew members.
• Maintaining professional service standards and attention to detail.
• Adapting to changing priorities and supporting the team wherever needed.

Requirements

• Previous superyacht experience.
• Experience in housekeeping, laundry, and/or guest service.
• Ability to join an established team and work effectively from day one.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to operational requirements.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid STCW certificates, medical fitness certificate, and other applicable maritime documents.
