Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, hardworking, and adaptable Steward(ess) to join the established interior team aboard a 78m private yacht in Italy.

The ideal candidate will have completed 2–3 seasons aboard yachts of 60m or larger and be confident working across all areas of the interior department, maintaining exceptionally high standards of guest service, housekeeping, and laundry.

The successful applicant must be able to hit the ground running, work efficiently within an established team, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to follow a structured onboard programme are essential.

The vessel has temporarily returned to fleet operations, so quarantine procedures are once again in place. Candidates must be comfortable with these arrangements and the additional flexibility required.

Important: The crew are responsible for caring for the cats onboard. Candidates must genuinely like cats and have no cat allergies.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Delivering high standards of guest service and hospitality.
• Maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and organisation of interior areas.
• Carrying out housekeeping and laundry duties to yacht standards.
• Supporting the established interior team with daily operations.
• Following onboard procedures, schedules, and quarantine requirements.
• Assisting with the care and wellbeing of the cats onboard.
• Maintaining discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail at all times.

Requirements

• 2–3 seasons of experience aboard yachts of 60m or larger.
• Previous experience in a Steward(ess) position.
• Strong housekeeping, laundry, and guest service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently within an established interior team.
• Excellent organisation, adaptability, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable following quarantine procedures and associated arrangements.
• Must genuinely like cats and have no cat allergies.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Valid STCW certificates, medical fitness certificate, and other relevant documents, as applicable.

Employment Details

• Contract: To be confirmed.
• Start Date: 11–12 November.
• Salary: USD 3,500–4,000 per month, depending on experience.
• Rotation: 3:1.
• Additional Leave: Quarantine days are extra and are not included in the 3:1 rotation.
