Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Ship’s Steward to join a DP2 Subsea Construction Offshore Vessel (SCOV) operating in the North Sea.
The contract duration is 8 weeks with a planned joining date on 10th May. The role involves supporting onboard hospitality and housekeeping services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, catering assistance, and crew welfare. Candidates must have prior experience on similar offshore vessel types and meet all certification requirements, including HUET with CA-EBS.
Only EU nationals holding a valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in accommodation and common areas
• Assisting in meal preparation and galley duties when required
• Managing inventory of cleaning and catering supplies
• Supporting crew welfare and ensuring comfortable living conditions onboard
• Complying with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Ship’s Steward License
• HUET with CA-EBS
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU Nationals with valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months experience as Steward on similar types of vessels
