Job Description:
Blackhull Maritime Services is seeking experienced seafarers to join the crew of large crude oil tankers (Suezmax / Aframax, 55,000 to 85,000 GRT). Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties will be in accordance with the specific rank and include but are not limited to:
• Deck Crew (BOSUN, AB, OS): Watchkeeping, mooring operations, cargo operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the deck and hull.
• Engine Crew (4th ENGINEER, ETO, OILER, FITTER): Watchkeeping in the engine room, maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair work.
• Galley (COOK): Preparing nutritious meals for the entire crew, managing galley inventory, and ensuring hygiene standards.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Indian Certificate of Competency (COC) / Certificate of Proficiency (COP) is mandatory for relevant ranks.
• Minimum of 12 months of documented experience in the same rank is required.
• Experience on Tanker vessels (preferably Suezmax/Aframax) is a significant advantage.
Employment Details:
• Contract Duration: Standard industry rotation (to be confirmed upon offer).
• Salary: As per the advertised scale (see table below). A rejoining bonus is applicable.
