Steward for Pipe Lay Vessel

Job Description

An experienced Steward is required to join a Pipe Lay Vessel operating in UK waters. The successful candidate will support onboard accommodation and hospitality services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping, and general stewarding duties in accordance with vessel procedures and offshore safety requirements.

The position is scheduled to start on 14 October 2026.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in cabins, accommodation and common areas.
• Assist with housekeeping and onboard hospitality services.
• Support catering and mess-room operations as required.
• Ensure accommodation areas are well maintained and properly supplied.
• Follow vessel, offshore and health & safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Steward, preferably in a marine or offshore environment.
• Valid UK Work Permit.
• Valid BOSIET.
• Valid CA-EBS.
• GWO Working at Heights certification.
• GWO Sea Survival certification.
• Valid OGUK Medical.
• Good English communication skills.
• Valid passport and relevant offshore documentation.
