Job Description
Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is recruiting a Messman for an Oil/Chemical MR Tanker. The Messman will assist the catering department with meal service, accommodation areas, cleaning and general housekeeping duties onboard.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with meal preparation and serving.
- Maintain cleanliness of mess rooms and accommodation areas.
- Support the Chief Cook with galley and catering duties.
- Handle catering stores and supplies as instructed.
- Follow onboard hygiene and food-safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Valid seafarer documents.
- Relevant Messman / catering experience.
- Previous tanker experience is an advantage.
