Job Description:

DMC Offshore is recruiting a Cleaning Steward for an upcoming Jack-Up Drilling Rig project in Croatia.

The successful candidate will maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout assigned accommodation, mess rooms, offices, and communal areas. Applicants should have relevant cleaning or housekeeping experience and be prepared to work in an offshore environment.

Croatian candidates are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates from other EU countries are also welcome if they hold or are eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.

The initial assignment will last approximately 60–90 days, with mobilisation as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Clean and maintain assigned accommodation, mess rooms, offices, and communal areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout designated spaces.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely.
• Report maintenance issues and unsafe conditions and follow established cleaning schedules.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar position.
• Previous offshore, marine, hotel, or industrial housekeeping experience is an advantage.
• Relevant cleaning or hygiene training, where applicable.
• Valid offshore safety training and medical certification, as required by the project.
• Good English communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and hygiene procedures.
• Croatian candidates particularly encouraged to apply.
• Other EU candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.
• Availability for immediate mobilisation and the full 60–90-day assignment.
