Steward for Jack-Up Rig (Croatia)

Job Description:

DMC Offshore is recruiting an experienced Steward for an upcoming Jack-Up Drilling Rig project in Croatia.

The successful candidate will provide meal service and hospitality support, maintain clean and organised dining areas, and assist with galley housekeeping and provision handling as required.

Croatian candidates are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates from other EU countries are welcome if they hold or are eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.

The initial assignment will last approximately 60–90 days, with mobilisation as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Provide meal service and support onboard hospitality operations.
• Prepare dining areas and maintain clean, organised mess spaces.
• Serve meals, clear tables, and wash dishes as required.
• Assist with galley housekeeping and provision handling.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards and report equipment defects.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Steward or in a similar hospitality position.
• Previous offshore, marine, or industrial catering experience is an advantage.
• Relevant food hygiene or hospitality training, where applicable.
• Valid offshore safety training and medical certification, as required by the project.
• Good English communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Strong awareness of hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety.
• Croatian candidates particularly encouraged to apply.
• Other EU candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.
• Availability for immediate mobilisation and the full 60–90-day assignment.
