Job Description:
Ocean Achiever Marine Services (OAMS) is currently seeking an experienced Messman to join an AHTS / Diving Vessel. The successful candidate will support the catering department and crew accommodation services, ensuring a clean, hygienic, and comfortable environment onboard.
The position follows a 4 months on / 30 days off (unpaid) rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with preparation and serving of meals and refreshments for the crew.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in mess areas, accommodation spaces, and related facilities.
Assist the catering team with cleaning and general housekeeping duties.
Support food service and ensure dining areas are properly maintained.
Follow onboard hygiene, safety, and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
Valid National Messman Course Certificate.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Messman.
Valid STCW certificates, where applicable.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Good hygiene standards and a responsible attitude.
Ability to work effectively within a multicultural offshore crew.
