Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and motivated 3rd Steward(ess) to join a busy 60m charter motor yacht in the United States.

The ideal candidate will have previous yacht experience, a strong understanding of interior standards, and the ability to work efficiently in the fast-paced environment of a busy charter programme.

The successful applicant will assist across service, housekeeping, and laundry, helping the interior team maintain consistently high standards for guests. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and able to anticipate the needs of the team while remaining positive and professional during demanding guest periods.

A strong work ethic, flexibility, willingness to learn, and genuine enthusiasm for yacht hospitality are essential.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with food and beverage service during guest operations.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and interior presentation.
• Carrying out laundry duties and caring for guest and crew clothing.
• Supporting the senior interior team with daily tasks and guest requests.
• Preparing guest areas and assisting with charter turnarounds.
• Anticipating operational needs and responding promptly to instructions.
• Maintaining excellent attention to detail, discretion, and service standards.
• Working collaboratively with the interior team during busy charter periods.

Requirements

• Previous yacht experience, preferably aboard charter yachts.
• Understanding of yacht interior standards and guest service.
• Experience or willingness to assist across service, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid B1/B2 visa – essential.
• Valid Schengen visa – essential.
• Valid STCW certificates, medical fitness certificate, and other applicable maritime documents.
