Viking Line passenger ship Gabriella, bound for Stockholm, collided with a berth in Helsinki at about 17:00 today.


According to the Finnish press, which reported the accident, there were only 204 passengers on board, whose flight to Stockholm, unfortunately, is postponed. Tomorrow's flight from Stockholm to Helsinki has also been cancelled. It is known that no one was injured, and the ship did not go under water. The causes of the accident are being investigated.

Viking Line vessels have been involved in several accidents in recent years, in September 2020 the passenger vessel Amorella ran aground on the Aland Islands, and in November 2020 the Grace vessel collided with a berth.
