US executes additional sanctions on Iranian shipping units

The US State Department added further 7 units and 2 parties in boycott list in sanctions against the Middle Eastern country.Along with subsidiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL).

The units sanctioned are

Iran Freedom and Counter-Proliferation Act,

China-based Jiangyin Mascot Special Steel

UAE-based Accenture Building Materials

IRISL subsidiary Sapid Shipping

Iran Transfo Company

Zangan Distribution Transformer Company

 

Iran’s Mobarakeh Steel Company.

 

Mohammad Reza Modarres Khiabani, CEO of IRISL, has included onto the sanctions list.

Starting this month, below listed companies were sanctioned by the US.

Hafez Darya Arya Shipping Company, extra subsidiary of IRISL, and Majid Sajdeh, a principal executive officer of the company
