Tourists in Greece remain without cruises due to new restrictions

Greece is tightening control over the availability of PCR tests among tourists inside the country. Multiple violations have already been identified in several port points of the republic.
In particular, about 2.5 thousand people could not go on a cruise to the Greek islands due to the lack of necessary certificates.

According to the previously introduced requirements, when boarding a ship, a passenger must provide a negative PCR test result or a vaccination certificate.

Until recently, representatives of port services carried out checks on the presence of documents on tourists. It is noted that earlier violations of antiquarian measures were recorded on water transport. Now the Coast Guard is busy with this procedure.

In Greece at the moment there are coronavirus restrictions aimed at preventing the spread of infection. Mass events with more than 20 people are prohibited, curfews have been imposed in some provinces and islands, and indoor bars and restaurants can only accept vaccinated guests. Also, during a pandemic, the requirement to use personal protective equipment and observe social distancing remains.
