Total chartered LNG tanker Adventure

The LNG tanker was handed over to the customer - NYK Line and the Gazocean management company. French energy company Total chartered the vessel from France LNG Shipping, a joint venture between Japanese shipping giant NYK Line and Geogas LNG.
The LNG Adventure tanker is equipped with WinGD X-DF dual-fuel engines and an Air Liquide Turbo-Brayton cooling system for re-liquefying natural gas from boil-off gas. The vessel is also equipped with a membrane sealing system for the GTT Mark III Flex cargo tanks.
It has been known that the vessel successfully passed all sea trials and testing of the tightness of cargo tanks and fuel system. According to the latest information, the tanker is on its way to Panama.

Total is the world's second largest private player in the LNG supply chain. By 2025, this volume will be almost 50 million tons per year with a global market share of about 10%.
The Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line) group of companies, headquartered in Tokyo, specializes in international logistics, shipping, cruise business, terminal operations, property management and other operations. As of the end of March 2018, the NYK group owned and operated a fleet of 755 different vessels.
The group's fleet includes 361 dry-cargo vessels (Capesize, Panamax, Handysize), 42 ships for the carriage of wood chips, 119 sea-going car carrier ships, 95 container ships (including semi-container ships), 65 tankers, 29 LNG tankers (excluding ships affiliated) and 44 other vessels (multifunctional ships and cruise liner).

The total tonnage of the entire fleet is 61.2 million tons. The group employs about 36 thousand employees worldwide. NYK has regional offices in London, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and Sao Paulo. It manages terminals, warehouses and logistics hubs in Asia, Europe and North America.
