A fishing vessel caught fire in a South Korean port.
The vessel is now in Busan for scheduled maintenance.

"The fire, which covered 21 square meters, occurred during gas welding by Korean workers," the statement said.

The crew was able to put out the fire on their own.

The transport prosecutor's office has begun checking compliance with fire safety rules on the ship.
