Almost 50 people were infected with omicron after the cruise

After a cruise on the liner "Symphony of the Seas" of Royal Caribbean, at least 48 people became infected with coronavirus. Moreover, the strain "omicron" was detected in them.

The cruise took place on December 11-18, more than 6 thousand people went to it. According to the organizing company, 95% of the people on board underwent a full course of vaccination. Of those who passed a positive test and picked up omicron, 98% were vaccinated.

The infected travelers said that they either had no symptoms of the disease at all, or they were light.
