VESSEL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Italian Nationals
Experience in jack-up and STCW certification is mandatory.
Selected person will be responsible for the maintenance, and he must have a mechanical background.
At least 5 years of experience in the role.
Mission:
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of vessel equipment and machinery according to International conventions and regulations, Flag state requirements, Class requirements, local requirements and regulations and Company specific instructions.
- Whenever required, act as Maintenance Supervisor.
Tasks:
- Ensure all workspace technical and maintenance activities are carried out consistently with Company policies and in accordance to Vessel Management System.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all machineries on board.
- Ensure that permit to work system and relevant isolation procedures are understood and observed in own Department.
- Be safety minded during in all works and behaviours, use compulsory protective equipment and ensure the same for subordinates.
- Carry out own duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan.
- Notify the Management on board immediately of any defects which may affect ships safety and operations capabilities or put at risk the marine environment.
- Report to the Management on board and support the investigation of accidents, near-misses, hazardous and unsafe act/conditions, HSE non-conformities and other matters with implications for the safe operation of the Vessel.
