Description
Join our team on an Offshore Seismic/Research Vessel as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) with OSM Thome. This is a worldwide opportunity with the joining port in Bergen, Norway under the flag of Bahamas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the general maintenance and cleanliness of the vessel
- Handle mooring lines during docking and undocking procedures
- Stand watch and assist with navigation tasks as required
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures
- Follow orders from senior deck officers and ensure compliance with maritime regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ordinary Seaman
- Basic understanding of deck operations and safety protocols
- Valid STCW certification
- Good physical condition and ability to work in a team
- Proficiency in English language for effective communication on board
