Job Description:
OSM Thome is recruiting a Motorman / Oiler to join an Offshore Construction Vessel operating in the United Kingdom sector. The role is within the engine department and focuses on supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all machinery and equipment onboard. The vessel operates in a demanding offshore environment, requiring high safety standards, teamwork, and strict compliance with UK sector regulations. Accommodation and meals are provided onboard in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting Engineers with the operation and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary engines, and deck machinery
• Carrying out routine engine room watchkeeping, rounds, and log readings
• Performing planned maintenance, cleaning, greasing, and oiling of machinery and equipment
• Supporting bunkering operations, lube oil transfers, and machinery checks as directed
• Following all safety procedures and maintaining cleanliness and order in engine spaces

Requirements:
• Valid Motorman / Oiler (MTM) qualifications and seafarer documents in accordance with flag state and UK sector requirements
• Previous engine room sea service, preferably on offshore or construction vessels
• Valid STCW basic safety training certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Good spoken and written English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work effectively in a mixed-nationality crew
