Job Description
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for an Oiler to join an Emergency Towing Vessel operating in the United Kingdom. The position is scheduled to commence on 3rd May for an initial period of 4 weeks, with the potential for ongoing rotation thereafter.
The successful candidate will support the Engine Room operations, ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained and operated safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the engineering team with engine room operations
• Carrying out routine maintenance and machinery checks
• Monitoring engine room equipment and reporting defects
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the engine room
• Supporting bunkering and fuel transfer operations as required
Requirements
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical fitness certificate
• Passport
• Seaman’s Book
• Must be UK-based
• Proficiency in English communication
Employment Details
• Contract Duration: 4 weeks (with potential rotation)
• Salary: £200 per day (PAYE / Subject to UK tax)
