We are currently recruiting an Oiler to join a Dredging Vessel operating in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will support engine room operations by assisting with the maintenance, lubrication, and monitoring of machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient vessel performance.
The position requires a proactive team player who is familiar with engine room routines and committed to maintaining high safety and operational standards in accordance with international maritime regulations.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with daily engine room operations under the direction of senior engineers
• Performing routine oiling, greasing, and cleaning of machinery and equipment
• Monitoring machinery condition and reporting abnormalities or defects
• Supporting planned maintenance and basic repairs
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in engine spaces
• Following all safety procedures, permits to work, and environmental regulations

• Certificate of Competency COC II/5
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate
• Valid Passport
• UK Frontier Work Permit (FWP) – mandatory
• Previous experience as Oiler or in a similar engine room role is an advantage
• Good command of English communication
