Job Description

Nimbus Marine Group is seeking a Motorman for an upcoming assignment onboard an Offshore Construction Vessel operating in Sabah, Malaysia.

The successful candidate will support the engine department with machinery monitoring, routine maintenance, and general engine-room duties under the supervision of the engineering officers.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
• Monitor equipment and report unusual conditions or defects.
• Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and comply with safety procedures.
• Assist engineers during inspections, repairs, and equipment servicing.

Requirements

• Relevant engine-room rating qualifications or experience as a Motorman.
• Previous experience on offshore vessels is preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer’s documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• Availability for the November 2026 – January 2027 assignment.
• Sabahan crew candidates are sought for this opportunity.
