Location: North Sea
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Motorman to join a DP2 Subsea Construction Offshore Vessel (SCOV) operating in the North Sea.
The contract duration is 8 weeks with a planned joining date on 10th May. The Motorman will assist the engine room team in the operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment onboard. Candidates must have prior experience on similar offshore vessel types and hold all required certifications, including First Class Motorman License and HUET with CA-EBS.
Only EU nationals holding a valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting engineers in operation and maintenance of engine room machinery
• Carrying out routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
• Monitoring machinery performance and reporting abnormalities
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the engine room
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and company standards
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• First Class Motorman License
• HUET with CA-EBS
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU Nationals with valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months experience as Motorman on similar types of vessels
