Motorman for Hopper Dredger Vessel (UK)

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Motorman to join a Hopper Dredger operating in the UK. The position follows a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation, with joining scheduled for 02 November 2026.

Candidates must be European residents with a valid UK work permit and hold a III/5 qualification. Previous relevant engine-room experience and the required offshore and medical certifications are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the engineering team with routine engine-room operations.
• Carrying out machinery maintenance and cleaning duties.
• Monitoring machinery and reporting defects to engineering officers.
• Assisting with lubrication and routine equipment checks.
• Maintaining a safe and clean engine-room environment.

Requirements:

• European residence.
• Valid UK Work Permit / UK FWP.
• III/5 certification required.
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable.
• GWO Working at Heights certificate.
• GWO Sea Survival certificate.
• Valid OGUK Medical.
• Relevant Motorman / engine-room experience.
• Availability to join on 02 November 2026.
