Description
The Lay Senior Mechanical Technician has responsibility for the operation, maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment related to lay deck operations. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the technician implements and monitors technical procedures and reporting, work management and execution.
IMCA Log Book and previous experience as Senior Lay Mechanical Technician
Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in appropriate Mechanical/Hydraulic Qualification
Served a recognised trade apprenticeship as a Mechanical Technician or equivalent
Hold Valid Offshore Medical
Hold Valid OPITO approved Offshore Survival Certificate
Lay Equipment experience with Carousel, Reel Drive and Tensioners is beneficial
Experience using a Planned Maintenance System (such as TM Master) is beneficial
An awareness of international Codes, Standards and Specifications
