Description
We are looking for a Multicat Master in a fixed rotation schedule of 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off.
Job description
The Master of a Multicat vessel is responsible for overseeing all operations of the vessel during a dredging project, ensuring safe navigation, effective teamwork, and successful completion of project objectives. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of marine and dredging operations.
Job requirements
Valid Master’s Certificate of Competency (CoC) appropriate for vessel size and operational area.
Extensive experience commanding Multicat or similar support vessels, preferably in dredging or offshore projects.
Knowledge of dredging operations, including anchor handling, equipment deployment, and marine logistics.
Strong leadership and crew management skills.
Familiarity with ISM, ISPS, and other maritime safety codes.
Proficient in vessel maintenance and troubleshooting basic mechanical issues.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
