Position
Description
The position will work with repair contractor’s representatives, vessel owners, port engineers and vessel personnel to ensure proper condition of vessel for dry docking, vessel movements and vessel services.
Responsibilities:
-Plan and supervise block building, docking, and undocking of all vessels
-Collaborate with Naval Architects to calculate and submit all necessary documents, including docking plans, block loading plans, and stability information required for drydocking vessels
-Oversee vessel, drydock, adjacent facilities, and staff during drydocking operations
-Approve loading changes to dry docked vessels
-Manage staffing levels and materials to achieve financial success
-Inform manager of problems, emergencies and decisions made during work shift
