Job Description
A shipping company is recruiting qualified seafarers for a new vessel operating on domestic routes in the Philippines. Multiple vacancies are available in both the Deck and Engine Departments for immediate deployment.
Open Positions
Deck Department
- Master – 4
- Second Officer (2/O) – 1
- Able Seaman (AB) – 3
- Deck Cadet – 3
Engine Department
- Second Engineer – 2
- Oiler – 3
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out duties according to rank and company procedures.
- Ensure safe navigation and efficient vessel operations.
- Maintain onboard equipment and machinery in good working condition.
- Comply with company safety policies and international maritime regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and support effective teamwork onboard.
Requirements
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Valid Seaman's Book.
- Relevant Certificate of Competency (CoC) for licensed positions.
- Previous sea service in the applied rank is preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
- Applicants residing in the Manila or Cebu area are preferred.
- Complete mandatory maritime training and certificates.
