Job Description
PT Setya Dharma Maritim Manajemen (SDMM) is urgently recruiting experienced Indonesian seafarers to join a Self Propelled Barge (SPB) fitted with two deck cranes for offshore and marine operations in Guinea, West Africa.
The successful candidates will support cargo handling, crane operations, navigation, and deck activities while ensuring safe vessel operations and compliance with international maritime and offshore safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced SPB professionals with previous West Africa operations experience who are available for immediate mobilization.
Open Positions
Deck Department
- Master (ANT I) – USD 4,000/month
- Bosun – USD 1,350/month
- Able Seaman (AB) (6 Positions) – USD 1,000/month
- Crane Operator (6 Positions) – USD 1,450/month
Job Responsibilities
- Support safe navigation and daily vessel operations
- Perform cargo handling and lifting operations using deck cranes
- Conduct mooring, anchoring, and deck maintenance activities
- Operate and maintain lifting equipment safely
- Follow lifting plans and offshore operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and international maritime regulations
- Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
- Maintain operational readiness and effective teamwork onboard
Requirements
General Requirements
- Indonesian nationals only
- Valid STCW 2010 certification package (BST MSC 560)
- Minimum 24 months of experience onboard Self Propelled Barges (SPB)
- Previous experience onboard SPB fitted with deck cranes preferred
- West Africa experience is mandatory
- Valid Medical Check-Up (MCU)
- Fluent English communication skills
- Valid passport, seaman book, and travel documents
- All certificates and travel documents must remain valid for at least 18 months
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
- Physically and medically fit for offshore service
