A maritime operator is currently recruiting experienced seafarers to join Multipurpose, Multicat, and Research Vessels operating in the UK.
The company is seeking qualified Masters, Chief Engineers, Able Seamen, combined AB/Cook personnel, and Deckhands. Candidates should have relevant vessel experience and be able to perform safely and efficiently within a professional marine crew.
• Master – GBP 350/day
• Able Seaman (AB) – GBP 215/day
• AB / Cook – GBP 240/day
• Deckhand – Salary TBC
• Chief Engineer – EUR 315/day
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Perform duties according to the assigned rank and vessel procedures
• Support safe navigation, marine, deck, and offshore operations
• Carry out cargo, mooring, anchoring, and deck maintenance activities as applicable
• Operate and maintain propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and vessel equipment
• Perform planned maintenance, inspections, and repairs
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and operational readiness
• Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
• Follow company HSE procedures and applicable maritime regulations
• Work effectively within a professional multinational crew
• Previous experience in the same position required
• Experience on Multipurpose, Multicat, Research, Offshore Support, or similar vessels preferred
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid Certificate of Competency / Certificate of Proficiency appropriate to the position
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Relevant offshore or vessel-specific certificates where applicable
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
• Physically and medically fit for sea service
Master
• Valid Master Certificate of Competency
• Proven command experience on Multipurpose, Multicat, Research, or similar vessels
• Strong navigation and marine operational experience
Chief Engineer
• Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency
• Previous engineering experience on multipurpose, multicat, research, or offshore vessels
• Strong knowledge of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Able Seaman
• Valid Able Seafarer Deck certification
• Relevant deck maintenance, mooring, and cargo experience
AB / Cook
• Valid Able Seafarer Deck certification
• Previous combined AB and catering experience preferred
• Food Hygiene / Food Safety certification preferred
Deckhand
• Previous deckhand experience on marine or offshore vessels preferred
• Knowledge of deck maintenance, mooring, and general vessel operations
