Job Description
Nimbus Marine Group is urgently recruiting qualified and experienced Malaysian seafarers for an upcoming offshore project in Sarawak, Malaysia.
We are seeking personnel across the Deck, Engine and Catering Departments. Candidates must have relevant sea-going or offshore experience, valid maritime certificates and the qualifications required for their respective positions.
Sarawakian candidates are preferred.

Catering Department
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform all duties associated with the assigned rank in accordance with company policies and vessel procedures.
- Support safe and efficient offshore vessel operations.
- Carry out navigation, bridge watchkeeping, deck, engine-room, maintenance or catering duties as applicable.
- Operate, inspect and maintain vessel machinery, equipment and operational systems.
- Support offshore project activities and maintain vessel readiness.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, emergency drills and response activities.
- Follow company HSE procedures and applicable maritime safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records.
- Work effectively as part of a professional offshore crew.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Malaysian nationality – mandatory.
- Sarawakian candidates preferred.
- Relevant sea-going or offshore experience in the same or a similar position.
- Valid maritime qualifications and Certificate of Competency (CoC) or Certificate of Proficiency (CoP) appropriate to the position.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid passport, Seaman's Book and medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong safety awareness and professional conduct.
- Ability to work effectively in an offshore environment.
- Availability for the project period from November 2026 to March 2027.
Position-Specific Requirements
Master
- Valid Master CoC appropriate to the vessel.
- Relevant command experience and strong leadership skills.
Chief Officer
- Valid CoC appropriate to the rank.
- Previous senior deck and navigation experience.
3rd Officer
- Valid OOW CoC.
- Relevant bridge watchkeeping and deck experience.
Chief Engineer
- Valid Chief Engineer CoC appropriate to the vessel.
- Proven engine-room management and technical experience.
4th Engineer
- Valid engineering qualification appropriate to the rank.
- Relevant engine-room and machinery maintenance experience.
Able Seaman (AB) / Ordinary Seaman (OS)
- Valid deck-rating qualification and relevant STCW certification, as applicable.
- Previous deck operations and vessel maintenance experience.
Motorman
- Relevant engine-room rating qualification, where applicable.
- Experience with machinery operation, lubrication and maintenance.
Steward
- Previous shipboard hospitality or housekeeping experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of cleanliness, hygiene and accommodation services.
2nd Cook
- Relevant catering qualifications or professional cooking experience.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, galley sanitation and safe food handling.
