Job Description

JOOLLC is currently recruiting qualified and experienced maritime professionals to join Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs) operating in the United States.

The company is seeking experienced deck officers, engineers, deck ratings, and qualified QMED personnel to support safe and efficient offshore vessel operations in accordance with U.S. maritime requirements and company safety standards.

Engineering Department

  • Engineer
  • QMED

Job Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:

  • Perform duties according to the assigned rank and company procedures.
  • Support safe navigation and offshore vessel operations.
  • Conduct bridge watchkeeping, deck operations, mooring, and cargo activities as applicable.
  • Operate and maintain propulsion, auxiliary, and deck equipment.
  • Perform planned maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Support offshore supply and marine support operations.
  • Maintain vessel equipment and operational readiness.
  • Participate in emergency drills, safety meetings, and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. Coast Guard, STCW, ISM, and company HSE requirements.
  • Work effectively as part of a professional offshore crew.

Requirements

General Requirements

  • Previous experience in the relevant position on OSV or similar offshore vessels.
  • Valid maritime certificates appropriate to the position.
  • Valid medical fitness certificate.
  • Valid Passport, Seaman's Book, and required seafarer documentation.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
  • Physically and medically fit for offshore service.
  • U.S.-recognized credentials and work authorization as required for the position.

Position-Specific Requirements

Captain / Mate

  • Valid U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) appropriate to the position.
  • Relevant OSV/offshore experience preferred.

Engineer

  • Valid U.S. Coast Guard engineering credential appropriate to the position.
  • Previous offshore vessel engineering experience preferred.

AB / OS

  • Valid U.S. Coast Guard rating credentials as applicable.
  • Previous OSV or commercial vessel deck experience preferred.

QMED

  • Valid U.S. Coast Guard QMED endorsement/credential.
  • Relevant engine-room experience preferred.
