Job Description

PT. Maritime Manning Nusantara is seeking qualified and experienced maritime professionals to join its team for floating crane vessel operations in Kota Baru, South Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Applications are invited from experienced seafarers and heavy-equipment operators who meet the qualifications for their respective positions. Candidates must hold valid certificates and seafarer documents, have relevant experience in the position applied for, and possess good English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

Second Officer

• Perform navigational watchkeeping duties and assist with safe vessel operations.
• Maintain navigational equipment, charts, and relevant records.
• Assist with passage planning, safety drills, and compliance with onboard procedures.

Chief Engineer

• Supervise the vessel's engine department and ensure the safe operation of machinery.
• Manage maintenance, inspection, and repair of main engines, auxiliary machinery, and related systems.
• Coordinate engine-room personnel and maintain technical records.

Second Engineer

• Assist the Chief Engineer with engine-room operations and maintenance planning.
• Monitor machinery performance and carry out troubleshooting and repairs.
• Supervise assigned engine-room duties and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Oiler

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
• Monitor equipment conditions, lubrication, and routine maintenance requirements.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and follow safe working practices.

Cook

• Prepare meals for officers and crew in accordance with onboard requirements.
• Maintain food hygiene, galley cleanliness, and safe food-storage practices.
• Monitor provisions and support efficient galley operations.

Dozer / Loader Operator

• Operate dozers and loaders safely and efficiently in accordance with operational requirements.
• Conduct pre-operation checks and report equipment defects.
• Perform routine equipment care and follow site safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the relevant supervisors and personnel during operations.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in the position applied for.
• Valid professional certificates, licenses, and seafarer documents appropriate to the position.
• Valid Seaman's Book and required maritime certificates for seafarer positions.
• Relevant qualifications and operating experience for the Dozer / Loader Operator position.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong safety awareness and the ability to work effectively as part of a professional team.
• Readiness to join in the near future.
• Ability to comply with company procedures and applicable safety requirements.
