PT. Ji Maritim is currently recruiting qualified and experienced Indonesian seafarers to join an ASD Tug Vessel.
The company is seeking experienced deck officers, engineering officers, engine ratings, and deck cadets. Candidates must have previous experience in the same rank and on the same vessel type.
Successful candidates will support safe tug operations, navigation, towing, maneuvering, machinery maintenance, and general deck activities in accordance with company procedures and maritime safety standards.
• Master – ANT I
• 2nd Officer – ANT III
• Ordinary Seaman – Rating Forming × 2
• Deck Cadet
• Chief Engineer – ATT I
• 2nd Engineer – ATT III
• Wiper – Rating Forming × 2
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Perform duties according to the assigned rank and company procedures
• Support safe ASD tug operations, towing, maneuvering, berthing, and unberthing
• Conduct navigation and bridge watchkeeping duties according to rank
• Operate and maintain propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and deck equipment
• Assist with towing gear, mooring equipment, and deck operations
• Carry out routine inspections and planned maintenance
• Maintain engine-room and deck operational readiness
• Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
• Follow STCW, ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, HSE, and company procedures
• Work effectively as part of a professional tug crew
• Indonesian nationality
• Previous experience in the same rank and on the same vessel type is mandatory
• Valid Certificate of Competency / Certificate of Proficiency appropriate to the position
• Valid STCW 2010 certification package
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Relevant rank-specific maritime certificates
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
• Physically and medically fit for sea service
Master – ANT I
• Valid ANT I Certificate of Competency
• Proven Master experience on ASD Tug vessels
• Strong towing, maneuvering, and vessel-management skills
2nd Officer – ANT III
• Valid ANT III Certificate of Competency
• Previous 2nd Officer experience on ASD Tugs
• Good navigation and bridge watchkeeping skills
Chief Engineer – ATT I
• Valid ATT I Certificate of Competency
• Proven Chief Engineer experience on ASD Tug vessels
• Strong knowledge of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
2nd Engineer – ATT III
• Valid ATT III Certificate of Competency
• Previous 2nd Engineer experience on ASD Tugs
• Strong engine-room maintenance and troubleshooting skills
Wiper – Rating Forming
• Valid Rating Forming Engine / relevant certification
• Previous Wiper experience on ASD Tug vessels preferred
• Willingness to support engine-room maintenance and housekeeping
• 2 positions available
Ordinary Seaman – Rating Forming
• Valid Rating Forming Deck / relevant certification
• Previous OS experience on ASD Tug vessels preferred
• Ability to assist with deck maintenance, mooring, and towing operations
• 2 positions available
Deck Cadet
• Valid Deck Cadet documentation and maritime training
• Valid STCW certificates applicable to cadets
• Previous sea service is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and develop onboard ASD Tug operations
