Job Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform duties according to the assigned position and project procedures.
- Support safe and efficient Accommodation Work Barge operations.
- Supervise and coordinate offshore construction and maintenance activities.
- Carry out fabrication, fitting, welding, grinding, cutting, painting, and structural repair work.
- Perform rigging, lifting, and scaffolding activities in accordance with approved procedures.
- Conduct quality inspections and maintain QC documentation.
- Support project planning, coordination, and progress reporting.
- Maintain stores, equipment, tools, and operational readiness.
- Operate and maintain electrical and DG systems where applicable.
- Monitor compliance with HSE procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work requirements.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, drills, and emergency response activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and productive offshore working environment.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Previous relevant offshore experience.
- Experience on Accommodation Barges, Work Barges, Construction Barges, Offshore Vessels, or similar projects preferred.
- Relevant technical, engineering, trade, or professional qualification for the applied position.
- Valid offshore safety certifications where required.
- Valid Passport and Medical Certificate.
- Valid STCW certification where applicable to the position.
- Job-specific certificates and licenses as required.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
- Physically and medically fit for offshore work.
Position-Specific Requirements
Barge In-Charge / Project Lead
- Proven offshore project or barge management experience.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills.
QC Engineer
- Relevant engineering / QC qualification.
- Experience in offshore construction quality control and documentation.
Planning Engineer
- Relevant engineering or project planning qualification.
- Experience with offshore project schedules and progress control.
Project Engineer
- Relevant engineering qualification.
- Proven offshore construction or maintenance project experience.
Safety Officer
- Relevant HSE / safety qualification.
- Offshore Oil & Gas or marine HSE experience preferred.
Structural Fabricator / Fitter / Welder / Grinder / Gas Cutter
- Relevant trade qualification or certification.
- Proven offshore fabrication and maintenance experience.
Rigger / Rigger Foreman
- Valid rigging certification.
- Proven offshore lifting and rigging experience.
- Supervisory experience required for Rigger Foreman.
Scaffolder / Scaffolding Foreman
- Relevant scaffolding certification.
- Proven offshore scaffolding experience.
- Supervisory experience required for Scaffolding Foreman.
Electrician / DG Operator
- Relevant electrical qualification.
- Experience with generators and marine/offshore electrical systems.
Storekeeper
- Previous offshore or marine storekeeping experience.
- Good inventory and documentation skills.
Painter / Fireman / Helper
- Relevant offshore experience and applicable certifications where required.
