Job Description
Udyan Shipping is currently recruiting qualified and experienced seafarers for vacancies onboard an Accommodation Barge .
Candidates must hold valid maritime qualifications and certificates relevant to the position, with Indian certification requirements applicable to the specified roles. Fresh candidates are also considered for selected junior officer positions.

Key Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Carrying out safe and efficient vessel operations.
- Performing navigation, deck, engine-room, electrical, medical or catering duties according to the assigned rank.
- Maintaining vessel machinery, equipment and systems.
- Supervising junior crew and ratings where applicable.
- Following company policies, SMS procedures and applicable maritime regulations.
- Participating in safety drills, emergency response and onboard training.
- Maintaining a high standard of safety, discipline and professional conduct.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) or Certificate of Proficiency (COP), as applicable.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Seaman’s Book and passport.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant qualifications and experience for the applied position.
- Good communication skills and professional attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational or multicultural crew.
- Candidates must meet applicable Indian maritime certification requirements.
Position-Specific Requirements
Accommodation Barge Officers
- Chief Officer, 2nd Officer, 2nd Engineer and 3rd Engineer must hold the relevant NCV certification.
Able Seaman / Oiler
- Valid COP required.
- Relevant deck or engine-room experience preferred.
Cook
- Previous shipboard or institutional catering experience preferred.
- Relevant food hygiene and safety knowledge.
