Job Description

Augustea International Crews is currently recruiting qualified and experienced maritime professionals to join Barges, Tug Boats, and Crew Boats operating on international and offshore projects.

The company is seeking experienced deck officers, engineers, ratings, and catering personnel with relevant vessel and rank experience. Successful candidates will support safe navigation, deck and engine-room operations, vessel maintenance, and onboard catering while maintaining compliance with international maritime and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:

•  Perform duties according to the assigned rank and company procedures. 
•  Support safe navigation and daily vessel operations. 
•  Carry out deck, mooring, cargo, maintenance, or engine-room activities as applicable. 
•  Operate and maintain vessel machinery and equipment. 
•  Support routine inspections and planned maintenance. 
•  Maintain vessel operational readiness. 
•  Prepare and serve meals for crew where applicable. 
•  Participate in emergency drills, safety meetings, and toolbox talks. 
•  Ensure compliance with SOLAS, STCW, ISM Code, and company HSE procedures. 
•  Work effectively within a professional multinational crew. 

Requirements

General Requirements

•  Valid STCW certification relevant to the applied position. 
•  Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) or Certificate of Proficiency (COP) where applicable. 
•  Previous experience in the same rank. 
•  Relevant experience onboard Barges, Tug Boats, Crew Boats, or similar vessels. 
•  Valid medical fitness certificate. 
•  Valid passport and seaman's book. 
•  Good English communication skills. 
•  Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities. 
•  Professional attitude and commitment to safe maritime operations. 
•  Ready to join according to vessel and company requirements. 

Position-Specific Requirements

• Master / Chief Officer: Valid Deck Officer CoC and relevant command experience. 
• Chief Engineer / Second Engineer: Valid Engineer CoC and relevant engine-room experience. 
• AB / AB-Cook: Valid deck rating COP and relevant vessel experience. 
• Oiler: Valid engine rating certification and relevant engine-room experience. 
• Chief Cook: Relevant shipboard catering experience and valid food hygiene certification where required.
