Job Description

Perkasa Padu is recruiting qualified and experienced Sabahan and Sarwakian marine crew members for various deck, engine, and catering positions.

Candidates must hold the relevant maritime certificates, meet the position-specific requirements, and provide a complete set of updated application documents. Offshore safety training and valid marine medical documentation are required as specified below.

Open Positions

Deck Department

• Master — Valid STCW certificates and Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Chief Officer — Valid STCW certificates and CoC
• Third Officer — Valid STCW certificates and CoC
• Able Seaman (AB) / Ordinary Seaman (OS) — Valid STCW certificates

Engine Department

• Chief Engineer — Valid STCW certificates and CoC
• Motorman — Valid STCW certificates

Catering Department

• Steward — HACCP certificate and valid typhoid vaccination
• Second Cook — HACCP certificate and valid typhoid vaccination

Job Responsibilities

• Perform duties according to the assigned rank and company procedures
• Support safe and efficient vessel operations
• Carry out navigational, deck, engine-room, or catering duties as applicable
• Maintain equipment, work areas, and operational readiness
• Follow maritime safety regulations and company HSE procedures
• Participate in safety drills and comply with onboard emergency procedures
• Maintain professional conduct and effective teamwork onboard

Requirements

General Requirements

• Sabahan or Sarawakian candidates
• Updated CV with complete work and sea-service history
• Valid passport and seaman's book
• Valid marine medical certificate
• Valid BOSIET / FOET certification
• CA-EBS and TSBB certification, as required
• PMU documentation, as specified by the recruiter
• COVID-19 booster certificate downloaded from the MySejahtera application
• Good communication skills and strong safety awareness

Position-Specific Requirements

• Master, Chief Officer, Third Officer, Chief Engineer: Valid STCW certificates and relevant CoC
• AB / OS / Motorman: Valid STCW certificates
• Steward / Second Cook: HACCP certificate and valid typhoid vaccination
