Job Description
PT Setya Dharma Maritim Manajemen is urgently recruiting qualified and experienced seafarers for a Self-Propelled Barge (SPB) delivery project from China to Guinea.
The company is seeking experienced deck and engine personnel who have proven experience onboard SPB vessels or cargo vessels. Candidates with previous Africa experience will be given priority.
This recruitment is specifically for the project delivery vessel.

Job Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform duties according to assigned rank and project procedures.
- Support the safe delivery voyage from China to Guinea.
- Conduct navigational and engine-room watchkeeping as applicable.
- Support cargo, mooring, anchoring, and deck operations.
- Operate and maintain propulsion, auxiliary, and deck equipment.
- Carry out planned maintenance, inspections, and routine repairs.
- Maintain vessel equipment and operational readiness throughout the delivery voyage.
- Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company HSE procedures.
- Work effectively within a professional crew during the international delivery voyage.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Indonesian nationality only.
- Previous experience onboard Self-Propelled Barges (SPB) or Cargo Vessels.
- Proven experience in the same rank.
- Previous Africa experience is an advantage and will be given priority.
- Maximum age: 50 years old.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid STCW certification relevant to the applied position.
- Valid CoC / COP as applicable.
- Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
- All maritime documents and certificates must remain valid until 2028.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
- Ready to join on the specified date.
Position-Specific Requirements
Chief Officer
- Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency.
- Previous SPB or cargo vessel experience in rank.
Third Officer
- Valid Third Officer Certificate of Competency.
- Relevant SPB or cargo vessel experience.
Second Engineer
- Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency.
- Previous SPB or cargo vessel engine-room experience.
Able Seaman (AB)
- Valid AB Certificate of Proficiency.
- Relevant deck experience onboard SPB or cargo vessels.
Oiler
- Valid engine-rating certification.
- Relevant engine-room experience onboard SPB or cargo vessels.
